Submit a formal request to permanently delete your account and associated personal data from the Ogiek Knowledge Hub mobile application and web services.

What happens when your account is deleted?

Profile & Credentials: Your name, email, phone number, and authentication tokens will be permanently removed.
Saved Stories & Activity: All bookmarked stories, reading history, and progress tracking records will be deleted.
Community Reviews: Your reviews and ratings will be removed or completely anonymized.
Irreversible Action: Once processed, this action cannot be undone. You will need to create a new account if you wish to use the app in the future.

How long does account deletion take?

Requests are processed by our data compliance administrators within 30 calendar days. You will receive an email confirmation once the deletion is finalized.

Is any data retained after deletion?

All identifying user data is purged. We only retain anonymized aggregates (such as total anonymous content view counts) and mandatory legal compliance records where required by law.
